We are looking to recruit a Senior Team Leader to our Team. The role of being a Senior Team Leader is an important role within Fraser home care & the social care industry. You may be required to lead, develop and co-ordinate a team of care workers and you will be assigned to cover the First line on-call out of hours service on a rotational basis. This enables Fraser home care to continue to provide the highest standards of respect and care to all clients. Overall ensuring the dignity of the clients is always maintained.

What the role involves

Following Practice policies, protocols and guidelines, duties will include:

Delivering care to the highest standard and with a can do attitude.

Mentoring/encouraging employees throughout their employment and offering support/advise/guidance in a supportive and encouraging way.

On-call cover on a rotational basis

Reporting any issues to the senior management team.

Carry out duties as assigned by your Senior line managers.

Attend induction, in-house training sessions and staff meetings.

Managing and supporting workers so that they can perform their roles safely and to the best of their ability as part of your day-day duties when out delivering care.

Day to day management of client enquires.

First point of contact for carers.

Supporting Senior line managers in the workplace according to standards and legislation requirements.

Acting as a positive role model to carers at all times.

Working in partnership with other professionals to ensure individuals get the support they need when delivering care to them and recording relevant information so this can be updated into care plans.

Team working

Work as an effective and responsible team member, supporting colleagues in a flexible and approachable manner.

To apply for this post you are required to have your SVQ2 or above and willing to work towards your SVQ3

Previous experience within a care setting is essential. You will be required to have good organisational and time management skills. The Ability to work proactively and on your own initiative and with attention to detail. Ability to work flexibly and to workload demands. Commitment to developing within the role and keenness to participate in appropriate training opportunities.

You will be required to register with SSSC if your application is successful.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22 per week
